About Team Buller
Founded in 1986, Team Buller has a very proud history of being the most successful regional ski club in Australia.
The main activities of the club are:
- Operating the Buller Riders Ski and Snowboard Programs
- Operating the Abom Mogul Challenge and other leading Freestyle events
- Providing Scholarship Support to leading junior athletes
- Promoting the sport though operating programs, events, media exposure and representation on National Discipline Committees.
Through the years, the club has seen and played a major role in the development of freestyle skiing and snowboarding throughout Australia.
Some of Team Buller’s many achievements:
- Australia’s first snowsports Olympic Gold Medal – Alisa Camplin
- 3 World Champions – Kirstie Marshall, Jacqui Cooper, Alisa Camplin
- Produced 7 Australian Olympians
- An amazing 124 medals in World Cup, World Championships and Olympic Games from a total of 192 won by Australia!
- Won ski club of the year a record 9 times!
