With cold temperatures enabling the Buller snowmaking team to blast the mountain, new terrain is opening each day, ensuring training conditions will be much improved for the second week of the holidays.

The Wombat chairlift opened today and the Summit is schedule for tomorrow.

Coaching News
We are pleased to announce that Nick Hanscom has arrived fresh from Park City, USA, and is excited to be on snow for the first time at Buller tomorrow (Thursday).

Vancouver Olympian Ramone Cooper is also arriving this weekend to step up the program for the second week of the program.

A big shout out needs to go to Olympic Winter Institute of Australia acrobatic coach Anthony Khoury, who has delivered some great sessions this week in the sports hall. Without Anthony, keeping the kids progressing this week would have been awfully difficult given the limited terrain.

Weather Update
Conditions are expected to remain cold, ensuring snowmaking continues throughout the forecast period. It looks like the cloud should stick around, but fingers crossed for some blue skies for Sunday!
