The second week of the school holidays has seen much better training following snowfalls last week and cold temps for snowmaking.

We skied in a new mogul course on Howqua, which would be one of the most challenging courses seen on the mountain for years. The mountain also opened up a new entry level terrain park on Koflers which was very popular.

In other exciting news, snowmaking operations have commenced on Chamois. Although temperatures have only been suitable for two nights, it is still a great development for our training for the rest of the season.

Coaching News
We have been lucky enough to have 2010 Vancouver Olympian Ramone Cooper with us for the week. Ramone has been a great success with the kids, offering top level coaching and inspiring them through skiing with an Olympian.

Weather Update
Fine weather is expected to continue through to Saturday morning, when a cold front moves through the area. This front is looking a little warm at the moment with the “R” word predicted. Fingers crossed for snow!
