If the above factors have not been met, applications will not be accepted, and athletes will be recommended to join the Snow Squad program.

If athletes have not competed in the interschools due to a compelling reason (e.g illness/injury, living overseas), other factors may be used for consideration to asses new applicants.

- Vision of turns from on snow and jumps performed in the terrain park (video required)
- Results from other recognised events in Australia
- Local athletes attending school on the mountain (for midweek program only)
Note: would still need to be close to meeting the criteria - Positive recommendation to join Team Buller from Snow Squad
New athlete trial
Once accepted into the program, new athletes will be assessed over the first weekend of the program. Athletes that are not suited to the program will be refunded in full if the head coach determines TBR is not the best fit for the athlete.

Returning TBR Members
- If athlete not suitable to return to the program, TBR coach or program manager to inform families by September 30 in the year prior.
- If not notified, then returning TBR members are not subject to minimum entry requirements
