The Mt Buller Mountain Operations Team have done an impressive job to get a few runs open purely on man made snow. The snow falling now is a nice layer on top!
Weather forecasts are also looking better (see Jane Bunn’s snow forecast here), so Mother Nature can finally start helping out the snowmakers! Fingers crossed the bad weather on Saturday into Sunday falls outside of lift hours, and then we get more snow at the back end.
TERRAIN & FACILITY UPDATE
We already have Bourke St, Baldy and Skyline and the Gliders rail park on the Northside open, with Summit and Koflers to open tomorrow (Thursday - late start) weather permitting.
TBR will also utilise the Buller Air Zone each day of the program, rotating different groups through each day.
JACKET COLLECTION
For any TBR athletes who have not yet collected their jacket, TBR 2024 Karbon jackets will be available for collection on the following days/times before the program commencing.

Reminder to anybody that signed up to TBR Friday as a standalone product, your jacket is now included in the package/price. Before the first TBR Friday session, we will let people know if any brand new jackets are left from this year or also last year for purchase.

GROUPS
With a lot of new athletes joining the program, the first four days of the program (before the day off on Wednesday July 3) will predominantly be used to assess which group athletes are best suited to.
Skills assessments will be conducted in the school holidays on all athletes, covering a wide range of on snow skills, and freestyle specific actions like jumping, carving on groomed runs, moguls, park, rails etc..
The head coaches from each program area will work with the coaches to place athletes in respect to age, ability and mix of genders.
