The new policy will have TBR in line with Snow Australia’s concussion policy. We will be providing training to our coaching team, so they can identify suspected concessions and refer athletes onto the appropriate medical services.

Under the new policy all athletes will be required to download the CCMI app and set up a profile. Once a profile is set up they will need to join the Team Buller Riders (TBR), team and allow all listed staff and coaches to see their profile in the app. The app allows us to provide the best possible identification, management and return to training for our athletes.
The new policy requires all TBR athletes 14 years and over participating in any TBR training activity (On-snow training, Trampoline, Water Jumping, Air Bag training, Overseas camps, etc.) to undergo comprehensive baseline testing prior to commencing training. For athletes 13 years and younger we highly recommend our younger athletes undergo baseline testing.
For the current 2023 winter we highly recommend all athletes undergo this baseline testing but we understand this will take time so the policy will apply from October 1st 2023. This means any athletes participating in any TBR training activity after October 1st 2023 will be required to comply with the new TBR concussion policy.
Baseline testing, concussion management and return to training testing can now be done at Mt Buller through Dan Rogers at Alpine High Performance - https://www.alpinehighperformance.com.au/. It can also be done through any CCMI certified clinic globally, using this link - https://clinics.completeconcussions.com/
